Hey you guys!

Well I live in Toronto but I might come down to Florida for Christmas, I have never been to Florida or Cali so I wanna see it. Are there fun things to do down there? I envy you guys and the amazing weather you have, here we are stuck with cold blistering weather, rain and snow.

I just wanna see if I would be able to chill with some of you guys on a possible trip down there. If not December than in the summer for sure.

 

Florida is a pretty big place. Any ideas where you want to stay at, just to narrow it down a little.

I'd recommend December over summer. Coming from Canada, you'll die down here in the summer.

 

Well if not December by summer I mean end of april early may when I finish university for the year.

Honestly I dont know thats why I am asking for feed back. All of this would be really new to me.

 

If you've never been to Florida, then you must visit Miami Beach!
It is like another country, with all of the exotic beautiful women, and awesome cars! December is a great time to visit, it will be warm, you you can hang on the beach!

 

Will you guys show me around though?

 

Decepticon, like jvrabel said, Florida's a big place and in December, parts of north Florida (Tallahassee, etc.) can be much colder than people think when "Florida" comes to mind. The Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area is far enough south that even when it's really, really, really cold by our standards, it's probably only in the 50's. Most likely, it'll be in the 70's and will be perfect - especially considering that you're used to Canada in December. The Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area has a great group that's a ton of fun to hang with & certainly loves to get together if another S2ki member wants to see the sights. If you do decide on coming to Miami or this general area, you may want to post in the South Florida forum for more information & to let us know what dates you'll be here, etc.
