Powdercoating in the TBA?
I will know more in by the first week of July. My brother-in-law is a mechanical engineer and a bit of a gear head. He has years of experience inventing and powder coating medical devices, etc. He ended up changing jobs recently so he doesn't have access to the pc equipment anymore.
What we are working on is "renting" space at his new job and me forking up the bucks to get the equipment to get him started. He has the skill and I'll most likely back him. He's researching the costs right now. I'll be on a fishing trip with him (Boca Grande mind you) the last few days of June. We plan on discussing then and hopefully moving forward.
IF it works out, he'll get the equipment and probably go at my car so you guys can have a firm visual on what he's capable of. I trust him to tinker with my car and if you know me you know how anal I am about my car. BUT, I would rather him work on my car to prove his value to you before touching your s2k. He's in St. Pete so it would be extremely convenient for you guys to pull off calipers, valve covers, rims, whatever will fit in the oven(s) and have the stuff back ASAP, no shipping, no handling, no core returns, etc.
I promise I will keep you posted but I know I won't know anything more until July 1. It does look promising though but it's not definite.

That should be easy enough if we can get the equipment for the price range we're talking about. He's researching now. I really hope it works out because I know I'd do the valve cover, the hood support and all sorts of other goodies under the hood.
