The SH models stand for Super Handling, basically a fancy Limited-Slip with something called torque vectoring. It was the first of its kind and is now known as Acura's SH-AWD. The non SH Preludes are still super duper though

+ 1 ... also avoid SH's b/c they carry some extra weight that in the end makes you slower ... H23 engines are standard on the 97+ Preludes AT-MT (190-200HP) ..... Preludes are great cars, you drive them and you can't believe they are FWD sometimes ....

SH I thought was 4-wheel steering (Super Handling). The rear wheels slightly counter steer during hard cornering (not AWD, just all wheel steering).

if you want to get technical its an h22a4. h22a1's were in the 4th gen preludes
