I hear ya mav...on a serious note...when i used to have the miata there was one instance (October 3, 2001) that my car stayed at work for three days. The Doral / Sweetwater area has no drainage system at all. I had to walk three blocks and my dad had to pick my up in the truck. The water was waist high. I kid you not. I distinctly remember a new camaro with paper tags floating on 79th ave. My advice if you hear flood watch don't drive.

Angel I remember that day, I work in the Blue Lagoon area in Miami and it got really bad there. I had to actually stay at work the whole night and get a lift home the next day, I had a Dodge Avenger at the Time and it was pretty low to the ground so I knew I could not make it out. Some people tried but all came back with out there cars wishing that they had stayed. Now when I see that it starts raining real bad I usually go home early

For sure LAZ. I think anyone who works north of flagler should be sent home after it rains for more than 30 minutes. We should start a petition.
