Anyone care to have a meet one night at a restaurant and discuss and debate my crazy point of view like adults? I'm being serious ... i couldn't be more serious. I'll rent the hall, pay for the food, everything.

I really don't want to split this community. But, for the benefit of everyone I'd like to get this off the site and into a one-night affair. It will be recorded so that it can be viewed by anyone not able to make it.

There will be typical rules for debate and common topics for us all to discuss as a community. Respect will be required.

as long as its not too far and if its on a weekend. i would take a lot of consideration of choosing the place cause there might be a big uproar in the building especially on whats going on now and NO i will not be the one to cause it

Ishbu: i understand your concern. I only hope that the participants can act accordingly. I would love for this to have a similar feel as any other meet. I just want to share my personal story and those of others that have been impacted by the kind of behavior being demostrated on these drives.

If people can't control their tempers then anyone offended can just leave (responding in a similar manner is anyones right ... but ineffective in this purpose). I think there are enough mature people and perspectives here to support both views effectively.

This will not be an ambush. I think there are atleast 2 sides this story. I would just like to see each represented adequately.

Comon folks ... this should be a great way for us all to reunite and come to some agreement about the future of this wonderful site. I'll be happy to put up a ballot box at the end of the dinner so that we can all enjoy a good 'hangin chad'.

It's a good idea, but people have a nasty habit of taking what someone says to them in real life even more harshly than what it said online.

My only fear would be that people take a resentment against others, and then it would only hurt the community further. I think it would be better if we could all just agree to disagree about certain matters, then go back to doing what we came here to do; enjoy our cars.
