I doubt you'll be able to actually get out onto the beach anywhere (or want to, for that matter, unless you have a tow truck), but Pensacola Beach/Navarre Beach would get you pretty close. Another alternative would be between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. There's a number of little pull-off/parks on that long stretch of 98 before you get to the Destin Bridge. I took this photo in one of them...is this the kinda thing you're looking for?
I did send your picture to my friends in Chicago. From that angle, our cars are identical.
Tonight Topper pointed me to a video of your car in "action" shall we say?

PS: Tonight I displayed my S2k at the Burger King on Nine Mile Road in P'cola. It's a weekly get together for hot rods and the like. Of the twenty or so people who dropped by to chat, all but one wanted to know what it was (I have the S 2000 badges front and rear.)

Hey I know that car. It looks sweet in that picture.
Thanks. I'm surprised you recognize it without all kinds of cone marks on the bumper/door though . I took that photo the day after I bought the car back in December of 2000. So believe it or not, it was really frickin' cold outside when I took that shot! Anyway, it's my 2nd favorite photo I've taken of the car. Here's the best, IMHO :

Tedow, Tedow, Tedow, I feel I can address you informally as we have a mutual friend. I'll not be surprised if my friends in Chicago refuse to believe the picture is of my car. This is due to the fact that the top is up. This is the south; regardless of the temperature, we always drop the top prior to doing le photo. This is the way we thumb our nose at those who insist that there is some sort of redeeming character to that area north of the Mason Dixon Line.
Yes, your photos are gorgeous and I appreciate your generousity letting me use one. However, they would look ever so much better sans canvas.
Written while my lady reposes in the garage with her top down, which is how she spends 98% of her time. Yes, I know, raise the top about once a week to stretch the canvas - and then put it back down. :-)
You saw a video? Was that the in-car footage? I didn't think that was still around here. Where is it located these days? I love showing that to people, even if it was the first time I ever really drove the car...I'm short-shifting all over the place!
No, the video I saw was where Topper was expressing his contempt for rubber cones. However, I would like to see the other one.
