I'm sure he can do a 35 shot. Nole99 had a 50 shot and he raced the crap out of it with no problems. Sounds like a good price for all that.

I know Hobbieholic real well and consider him to be a friend. He is a very nice guy once you get to know him. He gave away a HKS exhaust, a crossmember cover, and injector cover, for free, to be nice to the people in the TBA.

I have heard his side of everything and it is only his side but I feel that the problems he has had have not been totally his own. Yes, he was breaking new ground looking for 500 hp before it was done. Now that several S's have done it, we know it was a realistic goal. He was paying other people to do it and it didn't work. A lot of guys were learning at his expense.

I feel that James can easily do a 35 shot and tune it just fine. I wouldn't take my AEM computer there to tune because he doesn't have the experience with tuning an AEM on S2000's but few people have and have done it well. A lot of blown motors out there.

That being said, James has had experience with 50 shot NOS on the S2000 and has done it very well. I would take my car there to do a 35 shot NOS if I wanted it done locally.

My car is at Extreme performance in Naples right now. I am getting the AEM computer, AEM wideband O2 sensor, and the 440 injectors installed, Finally!! I went there because he has done that to a S2000 before with no problems.

I know no one wanted to slander anyone on the forum so why don't we not mention Hobbie again, we are getting off of the subject.

BTW: Troy, whenever you want to put in a bigger turbo let me know. We could have fun.

Would you happen to know if Extreme Performance has tuned any juiced S2000's?

Basically I have come to the conclusion that the more they have tuned, the more comfortable I will be. Im having alot of trouble getting in contact with SFP, I sent Frank two emails and one to their general email, no response from any. Id like to know how many he has done, it might be worth the trip.

Thanks everyone.

He is basically a mustang man but he did Charlotte's S2000. He learned the AEM and S2000 combo very well. He will be doing NOS and Supercharger to CHarlotte's very soon. I don't think he has done just NOS. NOS is easy compared to a computer programing. If you can hook up NOS to your car you could tune it for a 35 shot. Your not talking much.

I would take it to race related. James has done very well on NOS. Troy and Scott will grease the skids for you if you are worried.

If you need dyno tuning I would track down John, he used to own Secret Services. He still does dyno tuning. He was the first in the area tuning Honda/Acuras, imports etc.. with his dyno years ago. Other than that there were just mustang guys. Hope that helps. He used to own a S2000 at one point.

He sold his dyno so you would have to set up dyno time and get with him to meet you there to tune it.

Glenn has a Dyno, he is off Hwy 41, Lutz. I think the shop name is Hybrid Performance. He works with the Scranton brothers a lot.

Depending on where you are, there are 4-5 dynos in bay area now. XAT has one now. Most of the "tuners" are good with AEM EMS now.

I had my car dynoed at Glenn's when he first opened. If he still uses Manny to program the AEMs then that is good. As far as I know he doesn't know how to tune AEMs on the S2000. Not as easy as a Prelude.

Manny is very good but he works for a race team and is hard to get. As far as tuning a NOS S2000, you woulod have to call him.

Here is his number 813-948-9687.

Here is the number to Xtreme Performance in Naples where my car is.

Xtreme: 239-514-3600.

Here is a number of an excellent handa tuner in Clearwater.

His name is John Wilson and he works at Lees Hitech Trucks. Very Very hi-end.

That shop does incredable work.

LHT: 727-344-1800. Someday I may have them make my aftercooler run through the A/C system.
