Ouch.....reef rash seems to take forever to heal and itches like crazy due to the protien and calcarius contamination.

Mike you seem to have a history of mayhem on these amphibious assaults. Someone got hurt on the Bermuda beachead, correct???

Thanks for the kind wishes everyone. To top everything off, my new(ish) mac laptop has the fatal "Grey screen of doom" and after the loss of my new camera (in a terrible boating accident) had the only copies of the 500 or so pictures I have taken of the 6 Pacific Islands I have been to in the past 2 months. Short version: you may not see me online for a while, and I'm really having a bad few days.

 

Crap! that must really hurt. I have had a few fire coral burns but nothing like you have there.

Been there. The worst thing about reef rash are the infections that tend to go along with them. Weeks of weird green oooze were coming out of my feet when I got back from Indo. My family doctor literally exclaimed "OH MY GOD" when he saw my feet.

Antibiotics to the tenth power. Keep those rashes clean.

Remember: chicks dig scars. Get better mang.

 

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch.....the loss of an un backed up camera is the worst.....at least for a photographer. Bring the card back, I have heard of cards being recovered. Let me know and we can at least try.

OUCH! Dang man, thats nuts! Hopefully those who you were going after out there to help are appreciative of it... And maybe those who weren't listening maybe now have a damn good reason to listen.
