Default Repair info needed -- Clearwater

Hi all ..

I'm looking for some recommendations on the following:

-- Honda dealer (there are 3 on hiwy 19 ... who's the best for basic service?)

-- paint shop (I have a '95 Accord with me that I'd like to have repainted)

-- leather repair (same Accord needs some work on the seats)

I'm not looking for anything special on the paint. This is just a go-to-work car that I bought to use while I'm on a contract down here. (I go back home to Atlanta on the weekends.)

Any light you could shed on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I haven't had good luck with Autoway on 19 for general repairs. I have heard that their bodyshop is good though. I don't have any experience with the other two dealerships. There's a place just west of 19 on Drew St. (Just north of Gulf to Bay) called Clearwater Mitubishi. My wife had some work done on her car there and they were very good. If it's just minor work, Carsmetics is a local place that does a good job.

Hope you can get the S down here so we can have a look sometime. Where are you working while you're down here?

Thanks for the info. I'll check out those places.

I'm here for the next year working with Eckerds. I'm a software consultant (PeopleSoft HRMS). Right now, I don't have a garage, hence the Spa Yellow has to stay at home and wait for weekend drives.

Thanks again!

A good upholstery place is off of Hwy 275 in Tampa. Anthony's upholstery on hillsbough and Nebraska. they do great work. I have had severl cars done there. Not cheap but very good.

Hope to see you at some TBA fun events.

Thanks for the info. I'll give them a call.

I checked out Carsmetics on Ulmerton and 40th today. I was thinking I needed a total car repaint and they're recommending just specific areas. Because the car is black, they're saying that it'll be easy to match.

Does anyone know if their work holds up (doesn't fade after a year or so)?

Again ... I appreciate all the info!
