Roadster Shootout at CFRC, July 3rd
Oh, okay... I couldn't remember that guys name, but thought it might have been Steve. He worked out there too though. Skinny asian guy with a silverstone S2000 with blinking lights at the top of his windshield...

i completely agree with Tony and Speedy. that "time attack" was complete BS. dunno how much things could possibly change unless the track has changed ownership. i was having clutch problems and had to pull into the pits after my first run. a friend of mine who works at the track told me to slowly drive around part of the course since no one was running so i could park my car in the pits. i heard him get on the radio and inform everyone else of what he told me to do before i pulled off. what happened from there? i was told to stop in the middle of the course then to drive off the course, then the owner of the track drove over to me on his little ATV thing and started screaming and cursing at me. i will NEVER go back to CFRC. the owner is a selfish person that only cares about making money and not about the drivers who pay too much to race there.
I will say that the autocross I attended last month was a huge improvement from where they have been, and Steve0 is def listening to, and implementing ideas from more experienced people. He did a good job taking advice that was offered.
Its not an SCCA or Martin event, but it is still a great time, and you get virtually unlimited runs.
I understand the frustration from past events, and I agree with you guys 100%. This is why I'm never going to one of the "track" events they have.
