Default Robbins Top Installed

Finally! End result. Check it! Check out the 3rd picture. This is located in the rear of the driver side. I am not sure what the slot is for. Do you think the installation was done correctly?

That slot is a new addition to the design...my Robbins doesn't have it. But I would say the strap should be threaded through it.

I put my strap behind the flap to hide it and keep it from flopping down when lowering the top.

IIRC that tube thing is for the wires to the defroster.

Kuya Bil,
I got it done at Anthony's Custom Upholstery in Tampa. Price? 550 Clams.

Thanks. When I saw it, I immediately thought that the strap should go through the loop. But I checked the passenger side, it does not have the slot. Does your glass hit the roll bars when you push it gently? I noticed the glass hitting the roll bars when I wiped it gently. Also while at the shop, I put the top down once to check whether is going down properly. When I put the top up, I think I noticed that the top slightly rubbed on the the roll bars. Is this normal?

I have an 07, and have never noticed my top even come close to the bars. And it definately does not touch it once its finally up. Dont know how much different the rolls bars are between the years...

Im about to install mine myself in a few weeks, need to wait for work to calm down.

Where did you order it from?

I've been looking at topsonline.com, looks like the cheap place to go.

eBay but Topsonline is the reseller. It was a few bills cheaper than what was advertised in their website.
