Hey guys and gals. I am going to keep a diary of sorts in here and post up milestones and the hands I can remember plus any cool things I get a chance to be a part of and what not.

Sunday June 3rd 2007:
RXDI and I head over to orlando to meet with the owners of Orlando Holdem (HO). I sign contracts and receive buy-in check WOOOOOOT!!! It's now official I am actually doing this. The company had been quiet up until wednesday. The owner just had a baby and the prep for that and running this side business, as well as his 9-5 and his family, keeps this guys spread pretty thing. But I knew they were good for it and its all good now.

I got to see a DVD of the event I won and it was cool. I will get a copy of it and a raw feed of the entire final table on DVD and I will make those available ASAP.

I will be all registered hopefully by this weekend and I am hoping to get day 1 (day three) so I can maximize my hotel sponsorship and roll into day two fresher than the rest.

Sunday night Josh and I hit the free roll tournament hosted by OH and I learned (too late) that Dave, the tourney director, had put a bounty on my head that anyone who busts me out that gets an automatic seat at the quarterly qualifier for next years big dance tourney. Needless to say I was drawn out on often.

About 40 mins in, I got priced in (deeply) on an AHQH flush draw/decent cards preflop and got crippled by pocket KK. 35 folds later I went all in with AH10H and hit mid pair with my 10s against QQ and lost so that was my evening.

Josh made an easy but depressing fold when got Q's down and the flop came KKA with two betters in front of him. In all, we got NO cards to speak of and since it was a free roll with no real prizes in it for us, are hearts were just not in it like they should have been (bar tabs in ovedia are almost usless to us and travelling that far for future qualifiers would be hard at best).

yeah... the Rio casino, july 6-14 in Las Vegas. admission is free to watch

every one else can see it on ESPN sometime in the fall
