For the Rockers out there .....
My oldest son (25) called me up and said that there was a new SuperGroup that had formed that I might be interested in..... "CHICKENFOOT"
It is comprised of Sammy Haggar, Joe Satriani (ultimate Guitar God), Michael Antony (original bassist for Van Halen) and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Just thought I'd share with those who are tired of the crap that they play on the radio .................ROCK ON !!!!!

I have always loved Sammy and Joe is absolutely awesome. We need some new crap to listen to that doesn't just plain suck. I've seen Sammy and Michael a number of times (with \ without Van Halen). Make no mistake, Eddy is the man swinging the big stick on that stage! But good luck to this new venture.
I got really spoiled when I befriended a progressive jazz and fusion fanatic who was also an awesome guitar player and honestly I have a limited number of guitar players that get it done for me. A number of years ago at the Mahaffey Theatre I went to see a "newer version" of the Trio of Doom. John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucia and Al Di Meola. 3 guys playing acoustic guitars...that's it. Let me tell all, that you have not had your ass properly kicked until you see something like that. I went there straight and about half way through my brain went on overload and for several minutes I was unable to further comprehend WTF they were doing. The weirdest feeling I have ever experienced. Absolutely magnificent, you cannot truly imagine.
