Roll call for Sebring-Oct 31st
I am out
My Mother-in-law's kitchen contractor skipped out leaving her no kitchen, just a big f@#@*&% hole. So I am going to have to try to make heads or tails of the mess and put her kitchen back together
There gos my week off

For those of you who missed it...it was a blast (as usual)! The weather was perfect and the cars were fast and loud. It is such a pure way to enjoy driving your car! The TT outperformed the brake pads again...I'll need to figure something out to fix this issue shortly.
Troy came out and got a ride in Nick's S. Thats gotta be much more fun than Mr. Toads wild ride! There was even a beetle sighting on the track during the parade lap.
I would like to personally thank Joshua (Coral Doc) for being an excellent instructor. If anyone is interested in doing this in the future, try to line him up as your instructor...you won't be disappointed.

It was a blast for sure
it was a pretty good turn out for the S as well, I think there were at least 6 or 7 S2000's there!
Joshua, you got me thinking about my times! I used the date stamp on my camcorder and averaged 2:48 with a best of 2:46, I don't know how that compares to others but I felt comfortable with my speed and really wore down a set of panther plus's during this event

Sounds like everyone who could attend had a great time. I hope to join you sometime.
Coral Doc---thanks for the tip. December 18 and 19 is a little early for me. I will be down for the holidays, December 24th through January 2nd. If you know of anything in Florida please give me the heads up. I will be in the Sarasota area but am willing to travel almost anywhere.
Thanks,
John Oldt

Thanx again to Nick for the wild halloween ride. Thanx to Dr. Chin for the great event. I had a few spirited parade laps around the track that were fun as well. Scott is well on his way to becoming an F1 driver someday
All in all a very fun day even if I was just mostly spectating.
On a side note I used to own a "Sebring" Silver S2000. I went to "Sebring" , Florida yesterday for the races. My Beetle popped a CEL during my drive back from lunch yesterday and ran very slow after that. I took it to the dealer today and what kind of rental car did they give me? Well...... they gave me a silver Chrystler "Sebring" convertible of course. Weird coincidence.?....I think not!
