Default S2000 battery

Any suggestions for getting a new start battery, besides the dealer? I hate paying for work and parts I can do and get myself.

Any local auto parts store will have a few good batteries for you for around $50 and under and will install it for free and dispose of your old one.

I wish it were that easy. I got the "deer in the headlights look" from NAPA and Autozone. I'll keep trying.

Look in the Under the Hood forum. I think there may be a sticky on general maintenance with info on suggested battery replacements.

If you are not running lots of stereo equipment you might consider a lightweight battery. I have an Odyssey PC680MJ. They have less cold cranking amps, but they are fine in Florida. I've had mine for about 2.5 years.

I am confused now. Are you looking for a specific battery? I am not sure what a "start battery" is. I just replaced mine with a regular battery from Advance Auto Parts.

Good thought, negcamber. I actuallu just called Honda and got them to swallow half the price since the car has three days' warranty left.

neg, Why no pinch?
