Thumbs down S2000 Moderate Engine Problems

I couldn't believe that they rated the engine as having "Moderate" engine problems because of the EVAP solenoid.

"An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the Evaporative (EVAP) Bypass Solenoid. Failure of the EVAP Bypass Solenoid may cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate. The cost to replace the EVAP Bypass Solenoid is estimated at $52.52 for parts and $32.50 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax."

Key words , After 108k miles

that article is silly . I have had 11 Hondas and have never had a problem with any of them , well the window switch in the S "auto" feature stopped working 3 years ago and it was replaced under Honda warranty . I guess that would make the car less reliable too .

They only fail on you after you drag them, screaming, across hot pavement

actually the first one went bad at 65k and the second one at 98k. It was too soon ... for a Honda
