Sat Jan 19th - S2K Day !
If my math serves me correctly, the 19th is the third (3rd) Saturday of the month and that means the Coffee & Cars event over at the DuPont Registry from 7 AM - 9 AM in Clearwater. I have a close friend that finally got rid of the Volvo and bought a '02 Sebring Silver that wants to show up for this and meet you folks.
Too, another close friend gets his '64 convertible Corvette out of the restoration shop in one week, after 2+ years and about $50 grand. I've got him all jacked up bring this relic out for its inaugural public showing.
(*Maybe we can get that Sasquatch (Andy) who still slaves over at 2NRWerks to bring out the Chevy and let some real Muscle show up for this..... )
Anyhoot, if our cars are already pimped up for this, getting together later for dinner might be a very cool day. See what you folks think of this agenda:
A). Coffee & Cars
B). Cracker Barrel (nice late breakfast)
C). Group Drive going south and over the Skyway (and other choice twisties)
D). Ringling Museum in Sarasota to kill the afternoon (classy place for classy cars)
E). Group Drive heading north to the Moe's in Carrolwood by 7:00 PM
Just throwing out some ideas while we have the cooler part of the year to play with. Knowing that some cannot make the whole day's activities, this way they can join up where & when they can.
