should i remove my CDV

Default should i remove my CDV

So dont hate me for wasting up space but what do you guys think..Should i remove my CDV, i ran my car today for the first time hard and o man..sounded like i was missing gear all day , is it bad to remove ? YAY OR NAY any help will be greatly appreciated !!

wont hurt....

I need to do the same but some people say it doesnt make a difference since the biggest culprit is the heavier Flywheel and PP on the trans that causes it.

Evil is right, you can take it out and it will be better but the heavy flywheel still makes the clutch slip some. I just put an AP1 flywheel and removed the CDV in Maggies AP2 and it made a HUGE differance.

Forget about that nice sooth shifting then. It makes the whole thing more notchy.

I did the ap1 flywheel, removed the cdv, and stage two clutch. Feels rougher in daily driving but now feels so great rippen through the gears now

thanks for the advice guys, looks like i just got me a project to do this coming weekend, removong cdv and getting a AP1 FW and i guess a new clutch while im under there.. woohooo lol

also what was the purpose of putting the cdv? was it to insure that the diff. wouldnt give out like on some AP1?
