How much boost ya pushing in your GTI?? My friend's bro has a silver one i think he's got it cranked to 18psi. It's awsome, we were G-teching it...and even w/ bad launches we were in the Mid 6's 0-60.

PS: If you see a red Rx-7 convertable with a really loud exhaust around town... mess w/ him.

 

im still running stock boost which is 11psi. does your buddy have a chip or boost controller?

My friends GTI has a P-Chip (i think???), I just know it's damn fast now w/ the boost at 18psi.

That loud Rx-7 is a friend of mine. He's got some work done, but his car still isn't really that fast. He drives around C.S. all the time then comes back with stories about beating cars that are totally out of his league. The most recent story is he stuck next to a Lexus IS300 and pulled away on a GTI 1.8T (stock). We g-teched his car last night 0-60 9.46sec (down from 10.47sec before the work)...although his 3rd gear does pick up pretty good. Then again he is still only showing 105hp at the wheels.

I wanted you to mess w/ him so after he comes home bragging victory over another GTI, you can PM me or post the real story.

 

ok. what year RX-7 is it? the last body style? ill keep a look out and try and run him if i get a chance
