Ever since I did this mod, my tires break loose in 2nd. I actually don't like it. It isn't my tires chirping, my whole back end slides out every time I shift hard into 2nd. This happen to you guys? Or did my Intake/test pipe/exhaust add 300lbs of tq? And my tires are fine. Will shifting and droping the clutch too hard do this? Should I let it out a tad slower?

Actually, just 10min ago. I was on my way home from the gas station getting Tracie some gatorade. I had to do a U turn, and cars were coming. So I got on it hard through first, shifted hard into second, my whole back end came loose, flew to the right, then the left, then straightened out. Had to slow down for the train and the car right behind me was a state trooper!!! And for all of you who have heard my exhaust, you know he heard me being right behind me! Not to mention my back end sliding out all over the road. Can't believe he didn't give me a fat ticket! He just slowed down next to me, and kept going.

Your lucky you didn't get tossed in jail. I haven't had a lot of hard shifting practice since this afternoon so i'm not sure if its your turbo like torque you got from your mods.

1st. Warm up your tires before driving the car with spirit.

2nd. A thicker front sway bar can help quite a bit.

3rd. Get better (stickier) tires.

4th. Check tire pressure

5th. Understand that when you change springs/ shocks/ any part of your suspension it will effect your handling, sometimes adversely.

6th. Research
