From Florida but living in Houston right now. I've been wanting to come home for a visit, but this year I'm waiting for the snowbirds to go home. Last year the traffic was horrible, Sanibel Island was a huge parking lot. I can't handle that again. So if someone could let me know how it looks down there, I would greatly appercicate it.

Stay in Houston! It's horrible here in FMY! Every third car has an out of state license plate... Hopefully in April most of them will go home.

Anyways, I'd love to get together when you are in town. Maybe we can get a southwest florida s2k meet going!

They are still here. It will get better in April and May. Don't wait too long though, as the summer tourists start arriving in early June.

Not that I mind Snowbirds (keeps taxes relatively low here), but March is never good in West/Central Florida...it's Spring Training/Spring Break time. Although, traffic has been ok so far.

 

Thanks for the update. I'll just have to wait untill after Easter.
