well i was walking out to my car this morning to head to work to find a car with the doors and trunk open. My mouth dropped and I stopped dead in my tracks and stared for atleast a full minute. It really took that long for me to comprehend what happened since I was in utter shock. The thoughts went something like this;

"what the ****?"
"why are my doors open?"
"what the ****?"
"why is my trunk open?"
"shit my lights are on too, my battery is ****ed"
"what the ****?"
"****! someone broke into my car!"
"do I have anything valuable in it?"
"i hope they didnt cut up my seats and pee in my car..."
"****! shit! piss! ****!"

well, the top was cut and some papers I had inside were stewn around. The theives tried to steal my center console but gave up. it looks like they couldnt get the shift knob off so they couldnt get the shift boot over it to take it. thank god for that. they stole my Valentine One (you guys know how expensive that ****in thing is) and left my $70 sunglasses. They stole my cd case that had about 300-400 bucks worth of cds. They also took a Meguiars car wash kit thingy I got for christmas from the folks when I went and visited them a few months ago, but I dont think I would have used it anyway.
Being spiteful dicks they also decided to dump out my laundry detergent all inside my trunk and they took my fabric sheets. who steals fabric sheets but not $70 sunglasses? They also took my brand new jumper cables and my briefcase for work. The ironic thing is Im in the process of moving and staying with some friends in a shit ass apartment complex in the ghetto (Which is prob why it got broken into in the first place) and my deduct is $1k and I was getting ready to change it to $500 when I get into my new place and change my coverage address. yep, im pretty pissed about that.

I've got a few questions for you guys who have had your tops cut;

1)how much did it cost to replace?
2)how long did they have your car?
3)were you satisfied with the replacement job?
4)did your insurance go up?

im worried my ins premium will go up and it will get installed by some dick-cheese idiot and I'll have problems down the road.

 

My top was cut and the seats, headlights, sidemarkers were all stolen. This happened fortunately while it was still a repo at the bank I purchased it from so the bank had to fix all the damage. The top is going to run a good penny or two to replace. I think it is almost a grand from honda plus install (YIKES) There are other third party vendors that sell replacement tops at a slightly better price but install is like 9 hours no matter what.

im expecting something like that to happen to my car soon. we met that POS guy at my bodyshop and hed changed his plates again so i took pics and he and his gf were pretty mad that i did even that...

which is funny because ive figured out...we didnt even do that shit to his car...

stealing is so WHITE TRASH. i want to knock someone out when they do that..

 

kinda makes me worry too...gonna make sure i save all my receipts for anything i buy for my car and take pictures just in case something does happen...cause thats f'ed up
