Default Speed shops in Orlando

Who do you trust in the Orlando area? My suspension is still not fixed, I need a pro to take it for a drive and find the problem. My last checkup confirmed the frame is straight and the struts are not bent.

you could go to Central Florida turbo or Titan motor sports, but they kinda treat people poorly, at least that's my experience. Its just they get all kinds of people, mostly kids asking alllll kinds of qustions and spending no money, so i guess there patience are thin. but you shpud be ok. other then them i dont know of any others, atleast for imports.

about titan.

it sounds like you have a straight mechanical problem, you could try Honda Car Clinic in S. Orlando. it is a small shop and they only work on hondas, but the owner does really good work. 407-855-7914

Try Pops in allversion motorsports, they will treat you great and are all about hondas, the other two named up top suck at costomer service, and you have to knaw them so they can treat you proper, look up all version they did my S for a few things.

Thanks, guys... I think I'll try Honda Car Clinic first, then Pops if they don't work out. After that, I'll try the two speed shops (CF Turbo first).

There is absolutely, 100% no doubt in my mind a problem exists, I just don't know what it is. Feels like a sticking A-arm again, but I want to know for sure before throwing any more money at it.

I spoke on the phone with a guy at HCC, and he suggested it was my tires... I'm leaning towards him being right.

This all started immediately after my rear blowout. I thought it wierd that even with the Buddy Clubs on and no alignment, I was still able to drive the car for more than a month with no drivability issues. The blowout prompted a plug, with drivability issues popping up almost immediately... so this pushed me to finally get the alignment I knew was necessary from the coilovers. The alignment attempt showed the need for new A-arms (since the old were rusted in place). This helped the drivability some, but not all of the way.

So, new rears are on order (they're nearing the wear bars anyway... I could probably get another few thousand miles out of them any other day, but screw it). The A-arms are free to move, the struts aren't bent, the frame is square... tires are pretty much all that's left. $360 shipped for the rears, probably another $50 for installation. Add it to the running total of over $1500 for the A-arms... this suspension shit is killing me!

Mac, I hope that the tires are the cause of all your woe. That seems like a simple solution to a huge problem that you have been dealing with for quite some time now.

yah if its not the tires go to All Versions.. i had a problem with one of my swapped civics once and took it everywhere. no one could diagnose the problem (it was only revving to 3500k with no ecu codes) .. but all versions found it in a couple weeks! ended up being a tiny spring in one of the sensors being broken =P 20.00 fix.. lol

Swapped the tires out, lots of local roads and 350+ miles on the highway. It feels more like the car is all over the road now, as if the front toe was positive, rather than general twitchiness (was a bit like this before the tires were swapped). I'm going to call All Versions today...

It's All Versions Motoring on Curry Ford Rd. you're talking about, right?
