alternates are not covered in the ticket packages unless they fill in a spot

currently we have decal/ticket packages to cover 19 decal project participants

we also have 16 parade lap decal/ticket packages

to make a total of 35 cars

if you are currently an alternate, you are basically in a holding pattern until we have a void to fill. if this happens, we will contact the people on the list in order they appear. if you are able to participate, we will make arrangements to get your car decaled and provide you the ticket package.

you are already an alternate in the decal project, so i put you down as one in the parade lap project as well

Wow. I thought we had to sign up for ONE LIST OR THE OTHER not both. I must have dipped to illiterate level

 

what I meant by sigining up in one or the other was for the initial push of signups...meaning I did not want someone to get in on the parade lap sign-up say number 13 there and then go into the decal project sign up and get in on the top 19 there as well......

that would create a bad situation in that we now have to decide which one you wanted to be in or use the time stamp to put you in the first one you posted in etc etc

after the spots filled up the alternates could be anybody for either group. I should have made this more clear and I apologize

so the alternate list started ... should alternates try and show up at these events in case someone is a no show and u need to fill the spot right there?

 

no ....but you are more than welcome to attend any meet we schedule whether you are in the project or not.....we want as many S2000 at any meet we plan as possible

by me saying that I am activating the alternate list for the decal project I mean that there was a drop out and I am currently contacting the people that are on the alternate list to see if they can fill in that spot.

I have contacted the first person and as of right now they are able to participate in the decal project. so that means that the person in slot one of the alternates list is now going to move up in the list and take over the person's slot who dropped out

everybody involved in the decal and parade programs need to start looking through the Tampa Forum to see the various events we are planning in the upcoming weeks. there should be plenty to do and, when I finally get the tickets, I will be looking to hook up with many of you to hand deliver them to you
