Thats a lot of weight having up front for looks. Now you getting like me adding weight for looks. I don't think you'll realize much aerodynamic effect.

The weight is why Rob and I are looking at a dual spliter.
On a good day I only weigh 145Lbs. I have lost weight on the car here and there so, I am not to concerned with adding 16/17 Lbs.

The project was not just for looks. I'm hopping it will save my spoiler from getting tore up on driveways

Update:

I finished cutting out the aluminum and drilling all the holes for the screws. I spent all day sunday and most of today on it. I just dropped it off to be polished and have the wings/canards added to the ends.
I hope it is finished by the drive on saturday

Please stand by for final weight and pics

nice work, is it all aluminum? i remember seeing the plywood templet but never caught what you were going to make it from.

also how are the adjustable rods mounted and i assume they are fixed ie: not adjustable.
