Default SRS Light reset

Hey guys whats up does anybody know how to reset the SRS light on a 2000 Honda S2000. Honda want a 100 dollars to reset the light. They said it might be the belt buckle, but i dont know im kinda lost on how to reset this light. Thanks for the help.

You need the tool to reset the SRS system, Honda will not sell you the tool....I have the tool
I can help you to reset the system but, Honda is the only way to know why the system is throwing a code. If the system re lights after the reset then, it would be best to take it to Honda for analyzing...safety first

reseting is good only if you know there isn't a problem

thanks S2KPUDDYDAD what does the tool look like. yea i tryed to unplugin the battery and look at some forums at it looks kinda hard and u dont wan to mess anything up. but yea if you have the tool to reset srs light yea i would your help thanks where are you from. hopeing some where close to orlando

Go to radio shack and get a 10 ohm resistor and jump the plug with that. no need for honda reset tool. its nice because it plugs in but not worth buying. worked for me when i had my SRS light.

You will have to follow the steps for reseting though.
