I have also heard that the Hooked on Driving events are a little dangerous with not as much supervision. Anyone else heard or seen the same thing
yes and no. HOD is a bit more lax with the rules and layed back. Like any event though, as long as you pay attention you'll be fine.

If anything I feel like HOD is more rushed with only having 3 run groups. With NASA you get more breaks to relax and fix your car, especially if you instruct.
Don't 1 and 2 run together with NASA?

Yeah but you have:

HPDE1&2
HPDE3
HPDE4 (sometimes with TT)
TT
Race Group

When you instruct with HoD you only get a 20 minute break every hour. With NASA you often get more than an hour long break.

Good point. I'm definitely out for August, though. Flying to SoCal and doing a track day/hoodrat shit with Ameer during my break from school.

Ameer is letting me drive the shoe. I don't plan on wadding it up lol. I'm trying to swing Laguna, but it's looking like I'm gonna have to settle for Buttonwillow.

Yep trailer is a great value. I even rented one when mine was out of commission. Find a buddy with a truck who has nothing better to do that weekend and likes the kind of music that will be at GRIDLIFE.

That's not bad. Well I found out a coworker has that weekend off already, so looks like gridlife is out of the question
