I have no personal experience with Mr. Tasty, so don't be a pervert. Tasty can tell his story in Knoxville over pizza and beer.
First off, I'm nice to Willie Gee because he doesn't call me Mr. Tasty. Or at least he didn't until you kept calling me that.
Anyway, Willie yes, it can be easily uninstalled (but never reinstalled) without any damage to the paint. As long as you keep the rest of the car waxed with something with a UV protectant in it, the paint won't fade unevenly. I considered the fact that I can get the front repainted for $250 (maybe less in my case), but non-factory paint will never hold up against chips as well as the factory paint does. The first year, I had 0 paint ships on the nose of my car until I had to get it repainted. After that, I had a ton of paint ships within 2 or 3 months. I'm careful to not follow behind any semi's if I can help it, etc. I talked to a few different painters from different shops and they all told me the same thing. At the factory, they can paint the panels and bake them at a much higher temperature than they can/do at a paint & body shop. That leads to a stronger paint job. Makes sense to me. Anyway, I figured having the clear bra for 2 years would pay for itself. I can live with the line - it's not even visible from certain angles - if it means no more rock chips. Just my opinion - yours may vary.
