what of this, is the US is safer than the England? do you think we're due for a mass transit attack?

what can we do, as the US, to ensure the saftey of our citizens?

Seriously though...America will see other attacks. There is no doubt about it. All the liberties and freedoms that we demand dailey make it too hard to defend against terrorism. Sure airport security has gotten tighter over the years..but do you go through a metal detector before boarding a bus? Do you have to open you briefcase or backpack before getting on a subway? Nope, and if you have to then people will get pissed because it invades their privacy and slows down the process of getting from point A to point B.

 

I've got too many things going on in my own life than to worry about that stuff. I'll take care of what I can and let my taxes do the rest.

To answer you question, yes, we'll be attacked again. Why wouldn't we be? Haven't we invaded every Muslim nation already?

Of course, they do deserve it.

It's the chicken or the egg. Did they bother us first, or did we bother them? Needless to say, it's going to be an ongoing war.....We'll be hit again and we'll invade another country (or keep occupying).

Sorry to be a pessimist, but how do you get hit by terrorists, invade a county, kill innocents, then not have someone mad at you?

Yes we will be hit again.

I'm sure we would have been hit already if we had not gone on the offensive. The airports are a little more secure but Scorpion hit it right on the head, buses, trains, ships, and corporate airports are not very secure. England was a lot more prepared due to their past history with the IRA and look what happened to them. It will never be the same. Our only hope to for the majority of the Muslem nations to realize that there is a better like out there. That takes time. The people of Iraq finally seening that there quality of life is better. More food, more money and rights thay were denighed. Hopefully they will turn in the radical factions.

It is just said our economy had to suffer and even more our Galant Soliders die.

Like Dave said you can't worry about it. I say just support those who help our offense and defense. Let's keep the chase on keep putting pressure on the cells.

I get a little tired of all the bleeding hearts who somehow think America is to blame for the slaughter of almost three thousand of our fellow countrymen. We need to understand that these people HATE all Americans and the freedoms we stand for. If we were never involved in any other country around the world, they would still hate us and still murder innocent women and children. They have no heart or soul.

I'd suggest that it's not just Americans in general, it's that they hate all non-Muslims and who don't follow Islam.

 

Those who have power want to keep it. They fear that we are taking away their control, which we are. But we're doing it for those who are oppressed by the few who have the power. I think that it's possible to attack us here and that is reason enough for us all to be ever vigilant with our surroundings and those around us. I believe that we should support those who are making the decisions and by doing so we send a clear message that we will not stand for anyone trying to take away ours or anyone else's inalienable rights for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. For that reason we are at the forefront of terrorist hate. Whether we want to or not we are still paying the price for freedom. The blood is spilling everyday from our brave men and women in the armed forces for the freedom we enjoy.

 

I would always prefer to go in and kill just the people responsible for this kind of crap, leaving the innocents alone....

... but when it comes down to it, it's us or them, so I say....
