Of course I'm thinking about a drive/meet here in Marion County (Ocala). Besides being a little closer to Jacksonville (and J-phish especially! what a trooper!), there are also several areas of great driving. I also know of several places to make pit stops, photo sessions, and eating/dining.

On top of that there is also a very good Kart track here (http://www.ocalagranprix.com/) with HONDA powered karts for rent. Probably get a decent discount (my friends and I already do. lol)

We could also go to my friends Restaurant (Rondo's). He has two 9ft. HiDef TV's that we could watch the movie created by my friends in Gainesville (i have a small part ... with the cops of course). It's called Vehicular Lunatics (http://www.imvfilms.com/) and is really funny and entertaining especially for car nuts like us.


If you can think of anything else that would make a meet/drive more complete just let me know and I'll see what I can find/do.

how about a mini group drive from Ocala to my meet/mod session?

Many fun roads connect Ocala to NSB. It's essentially the route we took to the first Florida Mega Meet this year. For those of you on that drive, you all know how good some of those roads were.

 

That sounds good to me also. Meet at my friends restaurant, watch the movie (take notes ... on how NOT to get a ticket ) and then take the fun roads out of Ocala to WG's place.

I likes it ... I'm doing this tomorrow! hahahaha

 

I'd bring the movie to my place. I'll have beers, food and all the trimmings. We need to get out early on a saturday, before all the traffic.

If you want to make a whole day out of this, that's cool too. Maybe we could make the 3.25.06 drive a "preview" of the big drive. You could easily spend all day exploring the roads around / to Ocala. I know I have, a few times. .
