Thank you for your prayers
Our prayers are with you... Without the many men and women like your father we wouldn't be living the freedom we have today! He has accomplished more in life than most people have ever dreamed about! You should be proud of him! Go be with him and may god bless his soul!

Thanks for sharing the newspaper article about your Father. I recently lost an Uncle who served as a tail Gunner and Navigator on a Dive Bomber during WWII in the South Pacific and I loved to hear his stories and have always marveled at how brave and selfless that generation was.
They truly deserve the title of "The Greatest Generation". Your Fathers service is very admirable for not only did he fight to protect our freedoms but also to free nations that were being occupied by an army led by a truly dangerous and despicable person.
There was something special about this generation that fought in WWII, I know I saw it in my Uncle, if you asked him how he managed to do some of the things he did the first thing out of his mouth would be how scared he was, just when I was think how brave he was.
In the end we all know that they were brave, the things they did may have scared them (and rightfully so) yet they did them because they knew they had to.
I say again a sincere "Thank You" to your Father for his contributions to Freedom for me & my family and for other life
