I don't know how good that will look on a Silverstone...I'm gonna photoshop it first and see what I think.

BTW, how's your car doing? I'm winning that set of jenvey's on ebay right now

so by cutting holes on the rear bumper.... what aerodynamic purpose does that serve?

Right now your rear bumper is just impeding the flow of air under the car (think big brick wall blocking a stiff breeze). Cutting the holes allows air to flow out from behind the car. A diffuser would help this scenario but in a different way by basically blocking off the air dam effect created by the rear bumper

ecu comes in next week supposedly. I just want the crap to run. good luck with the itbs. theres lots of time left so i dount your bid will hold unless you fork some more flow out.

Quite a bit of air gets trapped by your rear bumper. Get under the rear of your car and think "parachute." At speed the rear grabs air and causes quite a bit of lift. Not good. Most S2K's that race, you will see rather large holes cut in the rear bumper. It's a great idea, but... i think I wil pass for now. I'm not really racing my car.

JCA was talking about cutting his rebumper as well just before he left. It's nice to see owners figuring out what they want and doing it. Nice link James. looks great. I want to see what JC had in mind.
