After 3 years in service and 6 years 10 months in sales with Honda I will no longer be in the business . Honda bussiness is good but the hours suck and the complete lack of a life and not being able to make planshas really made me look at things . I will now be a NORMAL 40 - 45 hour a week Monday to Friday employee . Anyone in here that might be looking into the possiblity of purchasing a new Honda PLEASE let me know before hand as I can tell you some of the ins and outs and what NOT to do so you can avoid getting hosed . I am really looking foward to the change which with start next Monday AM .

John, Bold move, Congratulations! Going outside of your comfort zone is a big step but hell you made the hard decision already and now the rest is relatively easy. Best of luck in your new position.

Hopefully those tips on not getting hosed you referred to are ones you imparted on me with our recent purchase!!

Thank you everyone . Rest assured Barry , you did manage to get a good deal . The initial numbers that they had me present where rediculous but the end result was the dealership moved a car . I just did not think it should have taken what it did . I am glad that when James came in with his Mom I was able to work with a reasonable manager . The Manager I dealt with when you came in for the Civic , Barry , is a very unreasonable one . He accually said that "if you can not make money on your friends and family who can you make money on" .. Not the way I look at it .

Honda sales have been doing good but I am just tired of the very long days and having to work EVERY Saturday and most Sundays . Thanks again for everyones support for the second time in the last 3 months .
