Hey everyone,

Just have to make this thread so I can vent.

So I went to my friends apartment complex today around 2PM and left my car there all day and night. I finally get back there around 3AM and I get in my car like normal and take off. I notice when I got in the car, I smelt fireworks, but I didnt think much of it.

So I took off and got to the end of the street where I notice alot of wind. ( I had top up and windows up) So I look back and notice a huge hole. I stop the car get out and scream. I was really pissed. I look in the hole and theres a "Thunderstorm", a 16 shot firework thingy. I believe all the fireworks shot in the back compartment area, but there is debris all over in the interior, like gunpowder and whatnot. I havent completely went through and searched the entire car so im not sure if theres damage to any of the plastics back there.

So I turned back around and went to my friends apartment complex and called the cops. Cop came and filed a report, snapped some pics and took off.

Now onto a question, have any of you dealt with a similar situation? How much is the soft top worth? I am planning on picking up a hardtop. Im gonna give insurance a call tomorrow and file a claim, hopefully I have enough so I can get a hardtop.

Anyways, thinks for listening just had to vent cause this was really frustrating.

Apartment punks, there's nothing worse.

 

I hate when people do this kind of stuff. I wish we could know who did it. I would call my Uncle Knuckles and we would make them go away Muwahahahahahahaha!

 

Also check to see if the apartment complex had some kind of camera system in place. There's a small possibility it was caught on camera.

I think a replacemnt top goes for what, 900-1000? Good luck and sorry to hear about this.

I carry a police night stick in my trunk for such ocassions. Please god let me find someone with their hands on Silvia. I'll let them hit me once to claim self defense, but after that it's on like Donkey Kong. J/K... not really

 

Screw that, just head butt something after you are done pounding on them or pop yourself in the eye one time. Do not give them the satisfaction of hitting you even once.

You're right, I'll have to do it myself, because the only thing that can cut me is me.

 

That sucks. I would have to be careful. Once I started pounding on someone for that, I don't know if I could stop.
