Hi,

I recently bought a hardtop and will re-surface my s2000 seats in the near future. I wanted some ideas
on what I can do to make it easily identifiable if they are stolen. I think somebody recommended that i
put my vin number on them. I was also thinking of engraving a design on the s2000 seats that will make
it obvious its not stock s2000 seats ......

any suggestions on what i need to do or any ideas on what other stuff i can do. thanks

Reupholster the seats in a unique material. Suede or clothe in the center. Maybe get different colored stitching.

 

weigh the cost of getting the glass etched on your hardtop with the value it will lose if you sell it (if any) and compare that to a increase in your insurance coverage for said parts. do whatever is cheaper is my advice
