A visit to Florida!
Hey guys & gals (if there are any s2k girls out there?)
In March, met up with some family in Florida for a reunion/family stuff. (I live in Seattle, sisters in Texas & brother in Florida)
Showing some Pacific Northwest S2000
in Florida!

Had a great time!
love the
weather! With a few thoughts of moving there too!
Ya' know, I'm not sure? We've only been to Orlando.
I would definitely consider living in Florida if I could get a job there first (obviously) with comparable pay, vacation, medical, etc. Most likely rent & storage (we tried the house buying thing but got bit in the @ss in the housing fall a few years back
fraudulent home loans, blah, blah, bloody blah).AND of course in an area/close with other car action i.e. meets, shows, other car enthusiast get-togethers, track events.
Looking at your picture there; what are the auto-cross / track days like? Any links to it?
There's track days and autox year round. And all regions of Florida I'd say are pretty active. Tracks we have I'm the state:
Sebring
Daytona
Palm Beach International Raceway
Homestead
The FIRM
And Roebling Road is only 4 hours away in Savannah from Orlando.

Recently located from up north. Weather is great for the most part with the exception of the brutal heat in the peak of summer and the roads are boring as all hell. If you really want to have fun in the car Auto-x and track days are your best bet so long as your wallet allows you.
Looking for a job here is not easy at all. I was lucky but my better half has not had the same luck. Her salary will probably get cut in half or less because good FL jobs are few and far between. Not to mention the job market is not at all varied. So it's all relative to what you do for a living.
