Vortec S/C for sale
Greetings!
Well, I finally seem to have everything sorted out. My research and suggestions from fellow S2Ker's indicate that the fair price should be $3500. You will need the upgraded fual pump which Tuner Todd says is about $125-150 bucks. I had to leave the one on the car as I did not have the stock one to replace it with.
It was professionally installed and taken off. Every bolt, clamp, screw, hose, etc. is there. I even took some time and effort to clean it up for the new owner. Installed at 3500 miles, removed at 27,011. Oil change by Todd every 3000 miles as Vortec reccommenended. Perfect condition, no damage, no disspointments.
The only real item that I want to add is that is I really would prefer whoever buys this, has Todd do the install. I have seen plenty of "trash" from folks who bought used stuff and then install it. Then they find out why it was sold, ......'cause it was broke! Then the crap begins.
If Todd does the install, I will guarentee the s/c until you take delivery from him. If I ship it to you, it's yours with no refunds. Don't take this personal, it's just good business. Todd can do the install in a day and he is the best tech/shop in the Florida market for the NSX and S2000 community. Call him direct for a quote to install. Tell him it's Scott's s/c.
It was on my '03 AP1 with the stock 5" pulley. If you have the '04-05 AP2, it will work just fine but Vortec used a 4.5" pully to obtain the 8# boost, plus the new belt to fit. Last year's dyno got me 288 and 292 at the wheels. No tuning, no other mods except the Spugen dual oval exhaust. Plug and play.
If you send any kind of check or money order, that's fine. But, I won't release the s/c until the funds have cleared.

I have rode in and seen this kit perform and it is without issue. This seller took meticulous care of this car and the kit.
Interview and deal with this guy without hesitation as he is a stand up guy.
I dont usually wax this hard about people but, this is a large $$ item for anyone and the usual concerns about dealing with someone on a transaction like this should be laid to rest rather quickly in this case.
Good luck bump!
