Default We have a Marine

Just came back from Parris island yesterday and couldn't be more proud. Chris my youngest son is now a marine. What a show what a great feeling. We stopped to get gas on the way home and every where he walked people wanted to shake his hand and thank him for serving. Forget about paying for dinner sir it's on us.
This makes me very happy about the way we feel about our military now

whenever I can afford it, I insist on paying for the meal of any service person I see in public when I am at a restraunt.

They often try to refuse but I insist and tell them I feel it is a symbol of gratitude and respect for the service they provide me on a daily basis.

congrats to your son

Congrads whats his mos im a marine as well and went through bootcamp there as well but that was years ago. Now i have done a couple tours to Iraq glad to see another marine come into the family us marines have. It takes alot for a young person to sign into the marines when we are at a time of war be VERY PROUD OF YOURE SON for doing that and know that he will make a difference out there

His mos is infantry, with Recon and scout sniper to follow when he feels he is ready. I am not sure how that works when he is ready to talk about it he will. Right now he is just starting to relax, the first nite he came flying out of the chair shouting ditties when my wife tapped him on the shoulder. he was asleep
