I'm headed to west palm Saturday afternoon/evening and am looking for something fun to do with the girlfriend.
I've heard Clematis Street has plenty to do, from places to eat, bars, and a nice park.

Anyone have any suggestions on things to do while we are there? We are in our mid 20s, but aren't looking to go clubbing or anything like that.
Perhaps a nice hotel to stay in on the beach that won't break the bank?

(And no, I'm not bringing the s2000, don't want to deal with theves...)

 

There is a car show from 8 am to 4pm, i dont know if that fits your schedule but it might be fun.

i am not to familiar with the hotels, i guess priceline or a website like that might get u a good deal. Clematis has some restuarants
and more laid back places where u dont really need to dress up. It all depends on what you want to do, ..... if u want to work on ur
tan ..... beach is perfect

if u like to gamble you can head south to ft. lauderdale and go to Hard Rock hotel and Casino. There are plenty of stuff to do there also. Just
go to their website and check it out. That will probably be something unique.

 

City place and clematis sounds like a good place for you.. Or you can go over to palm beach.

 

^^ yeah City Place is good for people watching. Too bad you don't want to break the bank because The Breakers Hotel is awesome!! you should at least go over there and check it out.. definitely research your hotel choice, because there are some "less than desirable" areas around there.
if you kinda like golf, there's a par 3 on palm beach that's very nice (right on the ocean), it's cheap too! plus you get to check out all the houses while you drive over there.
oh Yeah the Duck tour is fun, it's an amphibian that give you a tour on the rich and famous...

Brewzies at city place is cool with big brewing ketteles in view with lots of wood and copper. The whole menu is solid id mile high meatloaf and plenty of beer brewed in house
