When is the Dragon?
Yeah, I think I'm going to take the week durring the Dragon off. Leave FL kinda early (or when everyone leave to head up) like a Wednesday or Thursday. Leave late Saturday or so to head home. Just talking about it gets me all excited... damn, I can't wait!

I will be going for sure. I only had my car for a few weeks, and figured that wasnt the place to learn RWD.
But next year, I will be up there. Hopefully a few people down here will ride up aswell.
Is the general consensus for people to leave here on Thursday?

In years past we ( THE FRESHMAKERS ) have left on Wednesday afternoon and we usually stay somewhere about halfway up. We take our time on Thursday, finding every canyon road we can up and into the dragon. Friday we run the dragon and surrounding roads ourselves and by Saturday we run the roads with everyone else.
Sunday, straight shot home.
It's a Blast!

Hopefully I will be able to find someone else from this area that wants to go aswell. When do you typically have to reserve a room for the weekend that we go up there?
I know this is WAY WAY in advance, but it is something I dont want to miss.
Clinton,
We will have to hook up and set a road course to set you up for the Dragon. If you can grab a week off, we can lay out a plan to enjoy every possible style of North GA, Western Carolina(s) and Tennessee piece of pavement possible. There is just way too many "other" roads to enjoy in addition to the Dragon.
