We just want ya'll to come on out, that's all. We just thought it'd be fun if you guys could join us. it's only 1.5 hours away.

Anyway thanks for coming to my mod session/party James. I look forward to hanging out again. maybe next time I'll have some more time. When it's at may place i'm getting pulled a thousand directions at all times.

I hope Jax get's it back together. The meet that I went up for was a blast.

Sorry about the thread hijack.

It hasnt been three weeks. In case you forgot there was a meet 2 weeks ago in orange park that most of you thought was too far to attend. Last week, me, gina, john, and joey were at a bday party and everyone was notified ahead of time. Im up for a meet this week even though I'm getting up at 4:00 am to go to the Grand Prix on sunday. We've decided that Im up for 2 meets a month on the Southside of town at winghouse or whatever and the other 2 weeks Im up for meets on this side of town. Im sure that everyone that lives over here will agree that this is fair, but for some reason OP brings groans from everyone else. Sorry if its too far, but we drive the same distance to come hang with you guys. Thanks to all those who came out to hooters last time.

NEWay.......let me know where this weeks meet is and Ill be there.

im not trying to be a bitch but it was to my understanding that we decided on a place (winghouse in tinseltown) as a permanent meeting spot so that there would never be question as to where to tell people to meet.

'yeah so we have a meet here this day...but on the seventeeth saturday of the month its here. but if you decide to come this time then its at somewhere...' on and on and on.

what was the reason the meeting was arbitrarily changed to orange park two weeks ago?

im jsut going by what was said after the very first sonic meet clint and i went to.

at the winghouse that first time i believe it was decided that would be the jax meeting place.

if its going to be orange park (which doesnt make sense reallyif you think about it to have the jax meets there, because its not even jax but whatever...) hooters then have it be orange park hooters every single time. with exception of bill meets and whatnot where people go out of town.

if its going to be tinseltown winghouse then have it be tinseltown winghouse...to cut down confusion.

but either way...i think we should all collectively decide on where it will be...and stick to it like we intended on in the first place.

You really should rotate the Jax meeting locations. We do that in Orlando, and we get a pretty damn good turnout every week. I keep it on the same day, just go to different locations/restaurants.

Just my .02cents.

I think rotating the meetings is not only fair as far as distance goes, but how many weeks in row can you possibly eat wings. Variety is the spice of life. If we were to make a meeting schedule ther would be no confusion as to where to tell people to meet. I dont see this as a problem anyway since all of the people that come are from the forums . I have personally invited 3 or 4 people and none have shown up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I havent met anyone at a meeting that wasnt from the forums with the exception of Nick and his friend who just happened to be at the winghouse that one time. Im just wondering what the real issue is here anyway, I recall someone saying that if the meets were moved to orange park then they were out indefinately. Nice attitude. And we are the ones not making an effort.

well, I'd like to make the OP meets, but I'm already really late for the Winghouse meet. I'd be even later for the OP meets :-p. I work too much, so my opinion doesn't count. Is there a better half way point so that it's at a uniform location? Or you could say 1st and 3rd wk are at so and so and 2-4 at the other

yes, i indeed did say that. and maybe saying that if all the meets were in OP wed be out indefinitely was hasty BUT...if they all are...we will out because then it would be the same again as you guys driving here every week...

if were going to do this rotation thing, it should be a set one.

and...if people get tired of wings...whats the difference in jax winghouse and hooters OP?

i think we should just make a decision, whether it be four meets at one place or two here and two there and stick to it..

I like the idea of having it in different places to. If we didn't do that I wouldn't know about cool stuff like Twisted Sisters.

If everyone can check the thread and do the roll call then no one can be confused.

Most of the OP guys haven't missed a single meet...no matter where it's been.

I haven't been able to make a lot of them because of being out of town, busy schedule and what not. I won't make this one because I'm going to Tampa but if I were in town I'd go to OP or Southside, Downtown, Beaches, or whatever.

I have several ideas for different meeting spots around town...maybe even Fernandina. <-- James would like that!
