Default Who has done a Ap2 taillight conversion?

I'm almost finished with my Ap2 conversion. I am most likely going to do the Ap2 taillights next. My question is, who in Florida has done this and who performed the work? Why Honda didn't make it a direct swap is beyond me.

different cars, different designs, different years....what can you do? LOL

it involves cutting the sheet metal if you are going to have it seat and fit right. I know its almost more intensive than the headlight conversion, but less need for custom bracketing. you can DIY with the proper tools, but I dont have a solid line on anyone that has done it recently. Do search in the FL forum as well as each of the FL area forums for more info.

As long as you dont hack it, and use gaskets you should be fine, take your time, size the brackets to line up with the bolts of the tails and youre golden, of course you have to do the wiring pm me for help

I did it myself also. I got the kit from Hard top guy with the plugs but didn't use it. Just trim only what you need and grind a couple of plugs a little. Not too bad to do.

PITA is what that is. I did it to my Ap1. As long as you take your time it's straight forward. If you want to pay someone, take it to LHT John and Paul have done their fair share.
