Default Who was at Sebring this past weekend?

I know I saw a couple of S2000s out there, anyone here?

I did talk to one of the S2000 driver and he (sorry, forgot name) mentioned I had blue smoke coming out from under the car, does anyone know what that could be? The only thing that happened right before that is that I almost went into 2nd instead of 4th, the car seemed fine afterwards.

Great event, as usual, got in about an hour of track time before the rain started. I'll try to post a video of a lap later.

Um! If it was a Suzuka blue short haired guy it was proably Scott l.

Black smoke, running rich.
White smoke, burning oil- rings or valve guides

Blue ??? Take it to 2NRWERKS for a check out.

I was there, but not in the S2K, we arrived at 4:30 or so Saturday to setup the car and unload the trailer for the racer testing on sunday. The only S2000 I saw was an 06 Silverstone (red/black) that had 840 miles on it at the end of saturday. Good to see someone actually use the car correctly

I'll bring out the S2K next time. I was going to bring it out but it still had boiled fluid and needs an oil change after driving to michigan to track it up there at Gingerman raceway.

I believe they were silver.

The car runs great, no issues, maybe it was a little tire smoke under hard braking? I didn't actually see it myself.

I was there just Saturday and left around 3:30 after the rain started. We should setup a S2000 track day at Sebring, perhaps with Chin? It was my first time with the S at Sebring, after taking a 2+ year "break" from the track!

What kind of track car do you drive Dave?

Except for driving a few friends car's at events I've organized (or helped to organize) I haven't tracked my own car for 2-3 years either, except for the S at the ITR Expo in Michigan earlier this month.

I used to heavily track my Integra but now I just drive it to work and back (with many holes in it from the cage, etc...).

The race car I was there for is an SCCA IT7 RX7 that's owned and driven by a friend of mine. The car hasn't been raced for about 4 years so we were testing it before returning to racing at turkey trot in november.

Yeah, one of these days, when I can afford it, I'll have a dedicated track car! And the truck and the trailer!

Here a couple of laps (28 megs) from saturday. I'm a little rusty, but the car is still pretty fast for a stock car!

Passengers are needed for a few events! Chin is one of those clubs that doesn't require long sleeves or pants, or even a helmet... ok you do need one, but they're very easy on the "rules" IMO.

Ran the first session on street tires, and switched to the 710s in the afternoon, once I got back into the rhythm.
