It comes with some regret, and certainly a great deal of tardiness that I announce my resignation as a CO in Florida Florida. Children, the wife, and other interests have dominated my time and life. Not to mention the black hole of Facebook.

Thank you all for making my CO experience one of the most rewarding pursuits I have ever engaged in. I was able to share, contribute, introduce, help and be an instrumental part of this club. For this I am infinitely thankful.

I am keeping the car, and have many plans for it.

S2ki will always be home for me, and I will visit here often. But my leadership has long since passed.

Thank you all. Let us get on with it an nominate the next CO. Fellow Florida members, tell me, who wants the dental plan that only S2Ki offers?

I am officially nominating Bandiscoot to step up. He hails from an area that finds it very hard to call an established florida region home (Gainesville/Ocala area). that region is too far from JAX/Orlando/Tampa to be effective.


He has descibed a good amount of S2000 interest and activity in that region and has expressed willingness to develop involvement and community in that area.

I suggest him as a replacement and the hope that we can establish a new region forum for that area. the area seems active enough to warrant representation and a container for activity to call home.

WG you know how I feel dude....you and I have have hashed through some heavy stuff and you were the glue that held me together on more than one occasion.

I really hope you cruise through here more than you have been. i know you are busy but you are a valuable resource and friend to all of us in this community.

Gee Man, it was a pleasure to get out and meet you a few times at the Orando meets I was able to attend, though only once in the S.

Willie Gee ... buddy Not to short change anyone else's emotional longing ... but, I do miss you and the fam. Had you not shared so much of your life with me/us ... then this wouldn't be nearly as hard. You, Denise, Thea, Eli ... and the amazing Walter ... will always be the part of our family. Seeing Denise on I95 last Wednesday was quite a moment for me and Christina.

Regardless of your title ... not having you around has definitely left a void for many of us. Your enthusiasm is second to none and definitely will be impossible to duplicate. So, please, come back in and check in with us a little more often. I'll even try to persuade that process with a Winghouse Buffalo Shrimp dinner

I know my involvement isn't as frequent as it was a couple of years ago ... but, I'm still passionate about this car and its community. I accept the nomination graciously and humbly. I will do my best to 'keep the fires burning' for the community and pledge to do what ever I can to maintain the WIN for all ... if I am chosen
