Window Tint
I read somewhere a long time ago that 3M and Llumar were independantly rated the best. They both are very thick as far as tint goes ,very good clarity w/o any distortion, block almost 100% of UV radiation , don't discolor over the years and because they are thick compared to other brands they are much less likely to bubble over time. I also believe they both have a lifetime warranty for the original owner. Stick with one of those two and you'll be happy. I have had Llumar on my last 3 cars so that is my vote. Window Kote is an excellent tint chain in the Tampa Bay area.
D.. i got place i use but their in palm harbor
i have Llumar
5% limo all around and 50% entire front.. theyll do w/e illegal stuff u want..
id reccomend full front tint.. even if only a little.. helps a lot on keeping down heat inside car.

I have Limo tint on my S2000, which I think s the best for being in Florida, because not only am I fat, but it keeps people from looking in your car or at you. I l love it, haven't had any problems with it at all. Plus I only have to keep my A.C. on 2 notches which before I didn't have any tint, I'd usually have to max it out or close to it. Hope I helped any. Later, John
product is not as important as craft as far as the install goes IMHO. As long as you go with a named brand, the quality of film is pretty high nowdays.
My suggestions:
Go dark
Do the windshield (not as dark as the sides, but it looks hot)
Insist on micro edging (this should happen by default)
Check out the installers other work. I called around and got a good price on my G20t the guy actually worked out of his garage but he had three other cars on hand that he recently finished and showed me his work.
Good luck it should not be hard to find a good installer

Formula 1 is definately the best tint with the best warranty. Supposedly it has the most heat reduction as well. Llumar is probably the second best.
I have Formula 1 on the S2000, only because the windows were tiny and they owed me a favor, so it wasn't too expensive. Normally the stuff is super expensive. My windshield on the S is tinted with 70% Llumar magnum, which is a house film. Its nice because it keeps the heat out and the cops leave you alone.
Now on my truck I have Llumar, and on all of the other cars I've owned I've had Llumar. It holds up well, doesn't fade, and looks good.
I will agree with Primogen in that 75% of the job is the install. The best installers will make their cuts so close to the top you shouldn't be able to tell there is even tint on the windows.
