Default Window Tinting in JAX?

Does anyone have any 411 on a good tinting shop in the JAX area? The guy who tinted my RSX did a great job, but his shop closed awhile back. I'm ready to make the move on some darkness for my baby!

Go see Cramer @ The Tint Specialist on St Johns bluff, tell him I sent you. He's done my cars for over 10 years. I won't let anyone else mess with my cars......

Or you can see Sean @ Clear Impressions on Beach across from Alhambra and tell him Shay and Bryan with the S2Ks sent you. He's cut us both deals in the past. His number is 928-3067. He's good about his lifetime warranties too. I had a bubble appear on my old car (Accord) close to a year after the tint job and he fixed it - no problem. He didn't do the tint on my S2K, but man I wish he had. I have a HUGE bubble on the passenger-side window. I'll probably have him re-do the whole car except for the back glass (that tint seems pretty good and was on it when I bought the top) so that I can get the warranty. He's also the guy who did mine and Shay's clear bra. Good guy!

Hope this helps.

See Ya',
Bryan

P.S. Thanks for the JDM gift!

In fact I'll probably go see Sean in the not too distant future because I'd like to see about tinting the windows on the RL. They did the Camry, the S, and my clear bra, not to mention quite a few friends, co-workers, etc. I'm sure Charlie's guys is great too so check them both out. Charlie is real particular like us so either way I bet you'll be covered.

I've been thinking about tinting my windows since I got my car too. Just don't know if it's worth it since my top is always down!

Thanks for the info everyone. I want to get mine done because I like having the option of either letting EVERYONE see me or NO ONE seeing me! Plus it'll help keep the extra sun out of the car when I have to park her outside.

When I tinted the windows in my old Prelude I had problems. Rolling down the window when it was wet would make it shake and vibrate a lot. Forgot the place I went to, it was on Wells Road so don't go there! Also had bubbles from the beginning...
Now I'm afraid to tint my windows.

That sounds like you got a really crappy job done...especially if you had bubbles from the beginning. Don't let that stop you from going to a reputable shop in the future.

How much you guys pay for tint on the S? Doesn't seem like it could be much since there isnt much to tint

Honestly I forget because I had it done several years ago. Same tint the whole time though with no problems other than I had to get the rear done once I converted from plastic to glass.

If you're looking to get it done I'd suggest catching up with Craig and you guys going together. They are bound to work out a deal. I know I took my S and my wife's Camry in at the same time and they knocked off quite a bit.
