WTB: Stock jack
I figured there are a number of you interested in getting rid of your stock jack, so I'm open to what you might have on hand
If no one has one locally, I'll pick one up from the net. Melbourne is ideal, but Orlando is acceptable... if Orlando, Friday evening pickup on my way to Gainesville would be best. I plan to work on my car while visiting the parental units.
I figured out tonight that the stock jack is not good for maintenance work
It's not the best in the world (actually, it's kind of a PITA), but it's conveniently stored in my trunk when I need it. I was attempting to replace 3 of my swaybar links this evening... managed to get one finished, decided it was getting too dark to continue with the second one, so I lowered the car. Forgot to reconnect the strut, so up she goes again... about 1/4"
I managed to beat it into submission and jack it up just enough to get the rim back off and reconnect the strut, but practically bent the hell out of the jack in doing so. It has been slowly getting more difficult to use for a while now...
This has NOT been a good year for me!

time to get a real jack. try Costco if you have one in your area. they sell a great jack that is low to the ground for approx $75. i have both the Costco and a $300 NAPA jack. i prefer the $75 Costco...
either way, i don't have an OEM jack for you. good luck!
