Default Your doing it wrong!

So I got off work early today to go to physical therapy. I stopped by the house to change clothes take a whores bath and grab my car. On teh way there I was running behind and was exeding teh speed limit by quite a bit. When I got to teh peak of my speed teh front end of my car began to shake and act all kinds of ****ed up. I rolled off teh throttle and everything stopped once I slowed a bit so I kept on going.

About 2 blocks from my PT appt a couple of guys pull up next to me at a light and tell me "your driver side front is wobblin real bad and it doesn't look like its the rim" I say thank you and procede to my PT appt to check it out once there.

I pull in to the parking lot grab a space and get out to look. I'm like WTF!!!! there is a 1/4" space between teh rim and rotor not to mention I'm missing 2 lug nuts. I go around to teh passenger side and same thing there. I'm running late so I go in for my appt. when I come out I called a friend that lives right around teh corner. I didn't have a jack or lug wrench so I limped teh car over there to fix teh issue.

Got teh car up, took the wheel off verified that the lug nuts are the right ones. Tried to put teh wheel back on and it wouldn't fit over the hub. I then remembered hearing something in passing about oem staggered wheels and when I bought the car the dealership must have put teh wheels on wrong when they changed the tires.

now I have to repair 4 lugs which I may not have to since I went to the dealership, showed it to the guy who sold it to me. He's said he'll try to get the manager to authorize it for free since they did it. I bought the car 10 months ago but only put 6k miles on it.

Anyhow end rant still aggravated but oh well.

I would say you would have to get all new studs too. All of those studs could be compromised now and I would not trust them an inch.

I am surprised none of them broke already.

This is no bueno IMHO.

seems to me, 10 months and 6k miles later, you'd have noticed this problem well before now.

I had to stop reading because, he kept driving the car knowing his wheels could fall off at any time

I had something very similar happen to me years ago with my 70 GTO
I had new tires put on the car, leave the tire place, as I am driving down the road the front end starts to shake bad Pull over right away

I find that the lugs are not tight, I tighten them up my self before driving back to the tire shop to let them know that they Fed up

Be safe young man for your self and others, please don't drive your car cartoon style with the wheels wobbling all around
