how old is the view sonic? Dead pixels? How high do you need to increase the brightness to see?

 

No dead pixels, no adjustments required. Monitor is about 18 months old. I upgraded to a 24" HD widescreen for my docking station in my home office and don't need them any longer, Just cleaning out the garage.

 

do the monitors support VGA and DVI?

 

The Viewsonic does, the Dell does not.
