I am redoing my interior and with the foam I added to the trunk, this amp rack just doesn't fit in my car. It has a corner cut out so you can access your coilovers.

I just re-carpeted it, so it's perfect. It replaces the spare tire, and is held in place by my extra special secret trick that uses the same bolt hole for the spare. I have a JL 500/5 so it's fits a big amp.

It's custom made, not purchased from anyone else, and the carpet is virgin.

these are the rack in the car with a different amp. Of course it all gets hidden then the trunk panels go back in

 

i'm thinking about something similar to your set-up ... but i'm going to fabricate my own for the Carputer as well. Great looking 'rack' though
